Interesting observation

I just finished watching "The Lion King" with my family, I haven't watched it in years. But I have one observation, the scene where Mufasa comes to Simba in the sky and telling him to remember was odd, I can remember as a child that didn't seem odd at all, and my first thought on seeing it again was "What does Rafiki have in those coconuts. So, this has me a bit distraught, because I realized that I have lost that sense of wonder. Children see things for what they are, not having pre-made ideas on what is normal and what is odd. And that was a bit of a heartbreaking realization

Merry Christmas, and New Years Resolution

First off, I'd like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, and a good year to come! My Mom told me the other day I'm the hardest person in my family to by gifts for. I've never been very materialistic, I have always been content with what I have, never really wanting much. But this year was different, because what I want more than anything can't be bought, it can't be found in any store, and I'll probably never get it again. Peace of mind.
